About Hypnotherapy

About Me

Emma DaffernI am a fully qualified hypnotherapist having achieved a Diploma in Hypnotherapy and membership of the International Association of Hypnoanalysts, a highly regarded organisation which has been in existence for over 20 years.

As a member of the IAPH I adhere to a strict code of ethics in my practice designed to uphold client confidentiality and the highest standards of care. My work is closely regulated by the IAPH and I am involved in continuous professional training to enhance my practice with new skills and ideas.

I’ve been through my own personal course of hypnoanalysis and that means I can really understand what it’s like for my clients to experience this process, and I use my knowledge to create the best possible therapeutic relationship.

I have a wide range of skills to bring to my role as hypnotherapist acquired from my time working as a journalist, meeting new people every day, learning to listen to what they had to say and putting them at their ease. Later in my life I specialised in garden design and care but found myself, more often than not, becoming someone my clients soon felt comfortable enough with to discuss much more than their plants! At this point I felt my listening and caring skills could be better used to help people directly. I became a hypnotherapist because I believe passionately that Pure Hypnoanalysis results in long-lasting, life-changing improvements.
